The Basics of the Property Database page search

To enter a query into the search page just type in a single word or name in the desired field and click on the search button. The page will return all the records that contain the word in your query, refining or narrowing your search is as simple as entering an additional word in the companion search field. Your new query will return a smaller subset found in your original query. To expand your search use a portion of your desired term, for example entering “smi” in the last name field will return all last names, which start with “smi”. The wildcard (%, the percent sign) is automatically appended to search fields, except in the case of the Property Account Number, and can be used anywhere in the search string. Entering "%ith" in the last name field will return all last names, which have ith anywhere in the name.

All searches are based on the owner of record and legal description.

Choosing Specific Page Searches

Search by NAME

The first and last name fields are self-explanatory. The Corporate Name is the name under which the taxes are paid. The Business Name is the name of the business. Example: Denali Foods Inc is the corporate name of the business - Fred Meyer.

Search by Location

Street Name does not include a suffix like Drive, Way etc. or direction. Only use the street’s name. Besides street location, a property can be located by subdivision, block, lot or township/range, section, tax lot. Property is described by the legal description, so block or lot ’01 is not the same as ‘1’.

Search by Account Number

The Parcel Account number must be an exact match.
