E.       PUBLIC HEARING

 

V023-2000 A request by Joyce Parks for setback variances of 15 feet and 5 feet to the rear yard and front yard Multiple Family Office requirements of 20 feet, in order to construct a new single family home to within 5 feet of the south (rear) lot line and to within 15 feet of the north (front) lot line on Lot 16, Block 11, Rickert Subdivision. (located at the southwest corner of the 15th Street and Laurene Street intersection)

 

RZ021-2000 A request by Gary Kranenburg to rezone GL 5, T.1S., R.1W., Section 20 from Light Industrial to Light Industrial with a Correctional Facility Overlay. (located north of Cartwright Road, east of Fairbanks International Airport.

 

RZ022-2000 A request by the Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation Department to rezone approximately 7.41 acres from Outdoor Recreation to Two Family Residential on a portion of Tract A, South Westgate Subdivision. (located west of Kiana Street between 17th and 19th Avenues)

 

RZ023-2000 A request by Clifford R. Everts to rezone approximately 8.57 acres from Light Industrial to Heavy Industrial on TL 2321 and TL 2327, T1S, R2W, Section 23. (located south of Mail Trail, east of Dale Road and northwest of Airport Industrial Road)

 

CU009-2000 A request by Clifford R. Everts for conditional use approval for a Petroleum Storage and Transfer Facility in the Heavy Industrial zone (pending RZ023-2000) on TL 2321 and TL 2327, T1S, R2W, Section 23. (located south of Mail Trail, east of Dale Road and northwest of Airport Industrial Road)

 

RZ024-2000 A request by the City of Fairbanks to rezone approximately 4.25 acres from Light Commercial to Outdoor Recreation on Tracts G2 and G3, ASLS 90-64. (located on the northwest corner of Mitchell Expressway and Lathrop Street)

 

OC011-2000 An Ordinance amending Title 18 to provide for rezonings with Special Limitations.


F.       UNFINISHED BUSINESS

         RZ011-99 A request by George Horner to rezone a portion of Tax Lots 849, 833, 837, 839, 947, and 834, Section 8, T.1S., R.1W., from Single Family 10, Two Family Residential, and light Industrial, with 25 and 50 foot Outdoor Recreation zones, to Single Family 10, Two Family, and Light Industrial with a Wterway Setback Designation.  Adoption of this rezone would eliminate the existing Outdoor Recreation Zone and replace it with the Waterway Setback Overlay. (located along the east bank of Noyes Slough, north bank of the Chena River upstream from the University Avenue bridge and downstream from the northern extension of Wood Way)

 

G.      NEW BUSINESS

         *HP 003-00 Application by the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to provide surfacing, illumination and drainage improvements for Sadco Industrial Park and the Peger Lakes Subdivision.
