V006-2001 A request by Lester Westling for a setback variance of 20 feet to the General Commercial front yard requirement of 20 feet, in order to construct a covered walkway and deck to within 0 feet of the front lot line on Lots 19B and C, Block 9, Fairbanks Townsite. (located north of 2ND Avenue, between Hall Street and the Steese Expressway)

 

V007-2001 A request by Bill and Irma Jean Zito for two setback variances of 19 feet and 18 feet to the required 20 foot front yard requirement of the Multiple Family Office zone in order to construct an attached garage to within 1 foot of the south lot line and 2 feet of the west lot line on Tax Lot 525, Section 5, T.1S., R.1W. (located east of University Avenue and north of the Johansen Expressway Intersection)

 

CU007-2001 A request by Jay Johnson for conditional use approval of a guesthouse in the Rural Residential zone on Lot 3, Block 2, Sunview Subdivision. (located east of Skyline Drive between Snowy Owl Lane and Sundew Lane)

 

RZ005-2001 A request by RCH Surveys on behalf of Boyd and Linda Blair to rezone approximately 7.9 acres from Rural and Agricultural 5 to Rural Estate 2, or other appropriate zone, on Lot C, Heather Heights Subdivision, Lot A, Birchwood Subdivision, and TL 1905, Section 19, T.1N., R.1E. (located northwest of Old Steese Highway and southwest of Golf Club Drive)

 

HP005-2000 Application by the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for Local Government Approval to construct a separated pathway along the north side of Hurst Road, from Badger Road to Nelson Road.

 

F.       UNFINISHED BUSINESS

         RZ020-99 A request by the University of Alaska to rezone approximately 154 acres on portions of Tax Lot 602, Section 6, T.1S., R.2E. and a portion of Tax Lot 503, Section 5, T.1S., R.2E. from General Use 1 to Rural Estate-2 or other appropriate zone. (located north and east of the Chena River, west of Nordale Road)
