The FNSB Landfill is open
        7 days a week.
  The transfer sites are for Borough residents living outside the City of Fairbanks.
  Dispose commercial waste
at the Landfill.
 Prescription medications -
simple steps to safeguard lives & protect the environment:
  • Pour into a sealable plastic bag. If medication is solid, crush it or add water to dissolve.
  • Add kitty litter, sawdust, or coffee grounds to the plastic bag.
  • Seal the plastic bag and dispose in the trash.

    Residential: Loads from a “residence in a passenger vehicle, pick-up truck, or a trailer with two wheels and a single axle will be considered minor loads if the vehicle is not registered in the name of a company or business or used for commercial purposes.”
