The FNSB acquired a former Solid Waste Recycling Center through the tax foreclosure process in June 2003.  Since then, the FNSB has received an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Assessment Grant of $199,998 to determine the levels of contamination, if any, on this site and develop a Corrective Action Plan. With the Corrective Action Plan, the intent is for the property to be sold at a tax foreclosure sale.
