Welcome to Pioneer Park where history is celebrated and preserved for all to enjoy. Pioneer Park is a 44 acre Historical Theme Park located in the heart of Fairbanks, Alaska - between Airport Way and the Chena River bike path. There is no admission fee to enter Pioneer Park. Feel free to come to the Park and experience a self-guided tour of our artifacts, buildings and grounds! You can also enjoy the playground and Bear Art Gallery at no cost! Some museums and activities charge a nominal fee.

Engine 67 will likely not be repaired in time to run again this summer. However, the steam engine, #1, will tentatively run on Saturdays from 12-4 pm for the rest of the season. Tickets for engine #1 can be bought at the Tanana Valley Railroad Museum. All efforts are being made to have Engine 67 repaired and tested in time to run the Spooky Train for Halloween Trick or Treat Town.
FIRST FRIDAY FESTS
Fairbanks Arts Association is hosting First Friday Fests at Pioneer Park! The last First Friday is September 2nd! Stop by to enjoy beautiful art, games hosted by the Fairbanks Children Museum, and live music!
LABOR DAY CELEBRATION
Come relax at Pioneer Park and celebrate all of your hard work! Live music and dance performances will be from 12-7 pm at the Gazebo. The Alaska Laborers Local 942 will be hosting a parade and celebrating all of you at the Moose Creek Pavilion as well!
